SCI-TECH OPENS. Yesterday, the three-day Sci-Tech/ Green Expo exhibition was officially opened at the Sherbourne Conference Centre, Two-Mile Hill, St Michael. This yearÕs exhibition which continues today and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. is jointly sponsored by the Greening Barbados Committee and the National Council for Science and Technology (NCST), a division of the Ministry of Commerce, Consumer Affairs and Business Development. A noticeable addition to this yearÕs scientific exhibition was the emphasis placed on the environment. Chairman of Greening Barbados Committee, Harold Hoyte, cutting the ribbon to declare the exhibition open.
