AMETZA NICHOLLS became the youngest surfer in the history of the Barbados Surfing Association to gain the title of national champion at age 12 at the national championships on March 12. Her closest rival Shannon Kieffer dubbed her "The Feather". "She is so light - she flies," she said. Nicholls will be part of the Junior Team participating in the Quik Silver Junior World Championships in Brazil in May.
