STRIKER MARK McCAMMON has hit top form as he prepares to join the Bajan Pride for the finals of the Digicel Caribbean Cup - the signal of football supremacy in the region. The tall, powerfully-built McCammon had the honour of scoring the first goal with a volley as his team Donaster Rovers had a 3-0 win over Huddersfield at the Keepmoat Stadium in the English League 1 yesterday. Another Barbadian player, Jonathan Forte, was also brilliant. He supplied a fine pass which Paul Heffernan latched on to and scored the second goal in the 47th minute. Four minutes later, Forte got himself on the scoresheet soon after following another fine move. McCammon will be joined by Paul Ifill, Louis Soares and Neil Harvey among the list of 18 players when the Barbados Football Association announces the team today. The four are due to arrive on the island this weekend and will join the full squad in Port-of-Spain early next week. Ifill is a playmaker who last played for Sheffield United in the English Premier League. He has been out of form in the Premiership and was placed on the transfer market. The 21-year-old Soares, who is a fleet-footed winger with Aldershot Town in the Conference, was identified by Ifill and drafted into the team. Harvey is a talented striker who plays for non-league Wrexford. He represented the national team at the junior level and got rave revues. Meanwhile, lanky striker Kenroy Skinner has been left out of the squad, while Michael Forde has pulled out with a leg injury.
